Youssef is one of our many students in our hackerspace of Cairo in Egypt. The young man, 22 years old, passionate about soccer and coding, is following our training in FullStack JS.

I joined GOMYCODE because I wanted to reach the next level of coding

Before joining GOMYCODE’s FullStack JS training, I had coding experience. I took online and self-taught courses and this universe attracted me. So I wanted to go to a more advanced level and make my skills evolve to the level above, which will allow me then to find a job that suits me best. I find that GOMYCODE is the best place for that. It’s the best place for me to master new skills and to help me to go further.

Here, I quickly progressed

The first day, I was very excited to discover the hackerspace, to discover my classmates and our instructor. It went very well, the introductions were made, and I integrated the group very quickly. I also really enjoyed the space, which I found to be both fun and suitable for studying.

The whole experience is very enriching and productive. You progress quickly and well. Most importantly, you feel that what you are doing is not in vain. You learn yes, but by doing, and therefore you master better. I am really happy with my experience here. I have learned a lot.. I didn’t know that there was such a huge community interested in the tech field.

Our instructor, also, helps us a lot. He is a very professional person. He really makes time for each of us individually and makes the effort to give us the most complete answers to our questions.

Start to learn new skills as young as possible

If I had to give one piece of advice to people my age, it is to start working on themselves, on what they want, at a young age. You don’t have to wait until you get to college to start thinking about your future. It starts at a very young age. That’s why you have to start mastering as many skills as possible at a young age. I would have loved to have been able to take training courses like the one given at GOMYCODE when I was younger. It would have allowed me to acquire tech skills at an early age and to advance even faster in my career.
